We're sure that you already know that OCA's menu recipes are all lovingly made 'in house'. We also proudly offer a variety of fresh 'daily specials' which are influenced by our multicultural culinary team. Currently they hail from as far as Peru, Australia, Turkey, Hungary. Our regulars have noticed, and complimented on the extra 'zing' in many of the dishes in the quarterly tweaks!!!
Did you know? OCA is available to hire for private functions. We can cater for a small intimate buffet with a select group of friends or a private hire of the entire restaurant for larger gatherings, such as weddings, christenings and birthdays. Breaking OCA News
28th February 2010: OCA would like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Lisa and Paul Armitage on the Christening of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth.
15th January 2010: Head Chef Juan launches his new Dessert Menu. New additions include 'Dark Chocolate and Mascarpone Calzone' and a variety of flavoured syrups to spice up your latté!
11th December 2009: OCA held one of many school visits to the restaurant. This time for St. Josephs Pre-School; we thoroughly entertained the children who had a wonderful time making their own pizzas with Juan. They also learnt a little about the origins of ingredients and the intricate process of cooking the 'perfect pizza'.
1st December 2009: OCA previews its Christmas Menu this week, with the 'Now Universally Famous Christmas Pizza' headlining alongside festive additions such as a Traditional Christmas Dinner, Chicken Liver Páté, and desserts including Cherry Cheesecake with Baileys Cream.
28th November 2009: The Sale Christmas lights were officially switched on this afternoon, with Santa making a guest appearance on a canal barge which passed by the Waterside Plaza on its way from Lapland! OCA added its own festive touch by providing its quirky Christmas Pizza by the slice together with spiced mulled wine for the adults, and warming hot chocolate for the little ones!
10th October 2009: OCA hosted a 'Not Quite Ladies Day at Royal Ascot' charity event in aid of Delamere Special School. We had screened horse races throughout the afternoon, with blues crooner Alexander Stewart, drinks served by 'Butlers in the Buff' (!!), and prizes galore. Over £1,000 was raised for this deserving cause.
20th September 2009: Due to the success of the OCA stand at the annual Taste of Trafford event held in Altrincham Market, we were again invited back to present nibbles... OCA-style! Our Head Chef Juan and Sous Chef Lee sold over 600 slices of gourmet pizza...with our restaurant's best selling dessert, the OCA Chocolate Brownie, a runaway winner for 'afters'
